Fix No. 3 ~ October 2017

Hey hey!

I am so excited to share my latest stitch fix box with you!!!

I’ve been waiting for what feels like 2 years for this sucker LOL

And it’s hereee, it’s finally here 🙂

So – before I dive in and dish out the scoop on my first ever blog reveal & review for my 3rd box (I got the first two before launching this site), Go on over and read my very first post on what stitch fix even is if you’re new and have no clue <3

Back? / Already in the loop? Great!

Here we go 🙂

For October 2017, My stylist Emily hooked me up with 5 brand new pieces! I’ll describe each one and include photos of the pieces plus the pricing / brand / details below :

1 //  Brown Street Level Cora Work Tote — $68 — RETURNED

I opted to return this bag as it was a bit too big & bulky for my tastes and size preference as a small petite lady who dislikes overwhelming bags and I just didn’t like the feel of it material-wise (I like my bags a little ‘broken in’, this one seemed a bit stiff to me)

2 // Navy 41Hawthorn Nadia Cargo Rain Jacket — $78 — RETURNED

I sent this back because although it was super cute and fit well, and I did like it, I was hoping for a trench style raincoat so I decided to save my money in hopes of landing a piece I really want in the future 🙂

3 // Navy Mello Day Elora Button Down Cotton Top — $44 — RETURNED

I was excited to see some plaid, but I returned as I’m not a fan of dark colors for prints like plaid, was hoping for something more bright / harvest-y ; also, the fit was a bit too snug in the chest, and with button ups that can be tricky so I had to pass :/

4 // Level 99 Lilah Distressed Skinny Jean — $98 — RETURNED

These jeans… Oh, I lovelovelove these jeans!! I am just south of five feet tall and have no torso to speak of  (so pretty much all jeans i’ve ever tried even in petites or old navy kids are ill-fitting) yet these jeans cut me at just the right ankle length, fit great in the legs and sooo comfortable in the waist – basically these are unicorn jeans and angels sang and I cried when I tried them on (just kidding no I’m not) aaaaaaand they’re NINETY EIGHT DOLLARS… so, I couldn’t justify paying that for jeans (help me i’m poor!) and had to return them (may have cried again it’s fine)

5 // Pixley Martina Slub Knit Open Cardigan — $38 — RETURNED

I liked this cardigan, and thought it was cute and fit pretty good and the color was gorgeous for Fall! the price wasn’t too bad, and I would’ve kept it if I didn’t already have a similar cardigan in a similar color – my stylist knows me almost too well! haha 🙂

Overall, I wasn’t as impressed with this box as I was with the first two that I received which I bought items from before I began this reveal & review blog; So I contacted their AMAZING customer service and explained that I was not as happy as I’d hoped and ended up with nothing after specifying to my stylist I prefer feminine, bold & striking colors and an under $40/item price goal so they apologized and reiterated my goals to my stylist & waived my fee for my next box which will allow me to order a redo box for Fall which I plan to receive late October / Early November!

Stay tuned to see what comes in my next box:)
